Due to the mistake of the organizer and its management that has lead to the postponement of the fan meeting in Brunei, we regret to inform that the event which is supposed to be held on the 29th of May 2011 will be postponed until further notice.

The organizer would like to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the postponement. We will continue updating you with news of the progress and development of the event.

URBAN Touches Entertainment (UTE) and JD & Friends Entertainment (JFE) launched UKISS Meet The Fans Brunei teaser video during a press conference held at Coffeezone, Gadong yesterday.

The video that shows UKISS group members delivering a special message to their fans in Brunei, can be viewed on YouTube by typing “Ukiss Meet The Fans in Brunei Darussalam teaser video”.

Present at the event were Ak Kamal Ghadafi Pg Hj Suhaimi, president of UTE and JD Hing Wil Loong, manager of JFE.

The organisers stated that the video made its online debut as part of their efforts to create publicity and awareness on the upcoming event, and has already garnered over a thousand hits on YouTube.

The event is taking place on May 29, 2011 and the organising committee has shifted to high gear to ensure the smooth running of the event.

“We are proud to announce that we have been approached by parties that are interested to sponsor and support the event,” said Ak Kamal Ghadafi and Hing.

They include TT Blues Café, Coffeezone, Ibic Sdn Bhd, The Empire Hotel & Country Club, UBD FM, Pelangi FM, Restoran AkhbarRia, Armtrix, Petrajaya, Premium Gifts which further ensured the success of the event.

UKISS, Ubiquitous Korean International (Idol) Super Star, is a seven-member South Korean boy band who made their debut in 2008 and is currently one of the most sensational groups of K-Pop with a huge fanbase all across Asia, including Brunei.

UKISS fans will also be delighted to know that the band are Brunei to promote its newly-released and much anticipated fifth mini album “Bran New Kiss”, following the recent arrival of two new members in the group.

The meet the fans session will take place at Jerudong Park Country Club Amphitheatre from 3pm to 6pm on Sunday, May 29.

To date the event has received early bookings from fans of UKISS from Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, The Philippines and Singapore. 

Tickets for the upcoming event are priced at B$380 (Diamond), B$280 (platinum), B$120 (Gold) and B$60 (Silver) and are being sold at Coffeezone Kiulap and Gadong, Bingo Mall, CK Tang Kiulap, Sia and Tang Gadong, TT Blues Café, Butik Eileen Chen, and UBD FM.

Preparations are currently underway as Urban Touches Entertainment (UTE), organiser of the much anticipated Ukiss Meet the Fans session in Brunei, shifts into high gear to ensure its smooth running on May 29.

A teaser video for the upcoming event will also be uploaded in a few days onto their official website, http://ukissbrunei.tumblr.com.

It will feature recorded footage of Ukiss members delivering a special message for their fans in Brunei, who are invited to watch the video and frequently visit the website for any updates.

Ukiss fans will be delighted to know that the group will be in the country to promote their just released fifth mini-album called ‘Brand New Kiss’, following the recent introduction of two new members.

Ak Kamal Ghadafi Pg Hj Suhaimi, the President of UTE, said that pre-sales of tickets had shown a very positive response in the past month, with the most high-end tickets sold out in just a matter of days after going on sale.

“It did not take long for the Diamond tickets to be sold out, and now our Platinum tickets are currently selling like hotcakes,” he said. Tickets for the event have been available on pre-sale at $280 (for Platinum), $120 (Gold) and $60 (Silver).

He added that with the Diamond tickets sold out, fans could still purchase the Platinum, which would give their holders an opportunity to join the exclusive autograph session with all members of Ukiss and enjoy other attractive packages during the event.

“It’s been a while since an international artiste or group has made a public appearance in Brunei. The excitement is really strong because this is not something we all get to experience frequently here,” said the President of UTE.

Furthermore, added Ak Kamal Ghadafi, the event has attracted fans across the region, with some early bookings received from fans in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines and Hong Kong.

“We were also approached by several fans who requested that we organise similar events in the future with other K-pop groups. It is something that we would look into if this event proves a success,” he said.

The Meet the Fans session will take place at the Jerudong Park Country Club Amphitheatre on a Sunday afternoon from 3pm to 6pm. For further information, interested parties are invited to visit the aforementioned official website.
